My Story
As a life long learner and mother of four. I have always been passionate about understanding how our world and everything in it works. As a neurodivergent mother I became further interested in what shapes us, our views, and our needs. I also have lived with chronic pain for over fifteen years, driven to understand the aspects that heighten our pain responses, I have both researched and experienced many health practices. What I have found is that even though each person reacts differently to different methods, the most successful is an approach as a whole (Mind, Body, Soul). This is why I chose a holistic (Bio-Psycho-Social) model for my practice. While searching for answers to lower the affects of pain on my life and family, I discovered I had blocks to my voice, sense of self, and spirit. Facing and moving through these challenges, brought me many gifts. Some discoveries I made were acceptance and compassion for myself and others, an ability to be expressive and kind, a deep knowledge of who I am with the identity I choose to hold, and lessened pain with the empowerment to reach new heights. Over the many years I have built a library of resources that can assist in building support for others. Through my practice I get to share knowledge, empathy, and experience. Much like a slippery elm tree I extended my roots, went through rapid growth, was resilient and strong, and now am able to offer healing and more to others.

My Philosophy
Each individual experiences the world in a unique way. In therapy our sessions focus on discovery how you experience the world and what shaped those views. Sometimes this can be called emotional/mental lenses. For an example when you live with pain everyday, there is a filter on those lenses for what feels achievable compared to what you have experienced in the past. Sometimes over time that filter can get more narrow and our empowerment of choice feels like it is slipping further and further away. This is why choice is highly respected in my practice. With a Holistic (Bio-Psycho-Social) model I am able to offer safety and comfort for others to explore themselves, and their world. Each client has limitless potential and is a unique being. Striving to walk with you in manifesting your desires in life, love, and passions. My clients leave me with empowerment and long-lasting fulfillment. Accessible and affordable therapy is needed now more than ever before. With virtual therapy you can reach therapy even when you body feels a need to stay home. I offer sliding scale options to help you get the support you need, while lowering financial stress.
